I am Full Professor at the Department of Management & Technology at Bocconi University. I am also Research Affiliate at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), Research Member at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), and board member of the International Corporate Governance Society (ICGS).
I work in the area of corporate governance and family business. I am also interested in the interactions between strategy, finance and innovation, and the behavioral aspects of corporate decision-making. My research has been published in several top journals in management, economics and finance such as Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Law & Economics. The findings of my research are also frequently featured in media outlets in business and finance.
I serve as Associate Editor of Management Science and Journal of Corporate Finance, and as Editorial Review Board Member of Strategic Management Journal.
